My Road to Storytelling
Shell-E White has always had a love for writing. Even as a young child, she knew that writing creative stories and poems gave her the greatest joy! Unlike most children her age, Shell-E was happiest when she could sit in her room and write magical stories for hours at a time. Her huge imagination would take her on trips all around the world and gave her colorful ways to escape her life as she knew it.
Upon entering high school, Shell-E joined the English club. After winning several writing contests on and off campus, it became clear that she would devote her life to the literary profession. She went on to college at Mississippi University for Women and became a Senior Staff Writer for the university newspaper (The Spectator), receiving several literary honors including being named Vice President of the Society of Professional Journalist (SPJ).
Shell-E would go on to graduate college with a Communications degree and land several roles at Fortune 500 companies utilizing her passion for writing in the Technology, Banking and Healthcare fields.
